Perfect Placement:
As you all may be aware, I only have 9 tattoos. I definitely gave much thought and consideration before placing anything permanent on my body. One would think that is the easiest decision to make for this process but ummm… think again. Where you lay your permanent art should showcase there was a concept, an ideal or at least a visualization towards the outcome. At times your artist may provide a suggestion; this does not mean one is always so eager to take it. I have met people whose first tattoo is placed on their forearms and after that (I am talking years) there was still the 1 lonely tattoo on their forearm. Where they scared to get another? Did they not enjoy their experience? Or is it the one and done move? All valid but I guarantee you they had not moved forward yet because that piece - was placed in sleeve territory!! One small or medium sized tattoo on a forearm with no background or any other ink around it comes off looking rather... well … cut and paste. That is until you add more ink to surround the area. Ahh-ha!!
I have seen people with only 1 tattoo and trust; it can look great depending on the placement! You honestly do not have to be covered in ink. But my comrades; you must be careful in your placement decisions unless you want to pay the price of balancing the look or getting a cover up ($$$)
